Violated At A Nail Salon

So my best friend is getting married this weekend and I get the honor of being a bridesmaid!!! I am so excited for her and Brandon. I love them to pieces! Anyway, I had to get my nails done and so did my mom so we took the day to do a little pampering. We always look forward to this and it's so relaxing and fun to get mani pedis and relax and catch up. Well today we were in for a huge surprise!!!!!

They have really sweet massage chairs and I love how the make my broken back feel. They get a lot of tension in my neck out too. Today, they gave us a little surprise...all of a sudden this fist feeling just pushes up into my buttonhole!!!!!! Like no freaking joke! This have never ever happened here before and totally caught me off guard. Then it did it again! I was like holy hell that is one of my no fly zones! I'm sorry but my butt hole does not need a massage! I looked at my mom and was like um, "Mom are you getting fisted up your ass too!?" We both just lost it!!!! I mean seriously everyone was thinking WTF? I just said it....told you no filter. Anyway, I looked at the ladies working on our hands and feet and was like "You better not be charging us more for these extra "massage" services. They were rolling from laughing so hard. Needless to say my butt is so relaxed now and I love how my nails turned out. Too bad I had to be molested for good service!!!!!! Kristine, the things I do for my best friend ;)

Today I literally got to break a heart! 

We dissected lil pigs today in class. Poor things...and people wonder why I don't eat bacon! Because I know what the insides of things look like! People don't go around eating people, mainly because we are all full of it! 

I also have a little plea for those natives of the south. Please, please, when are driving along the interstate and oh just going crazy stupid slow. get the heck out of the fast lane! Some of us have places to go and things to do and just because you are too busy on your phone or other device, doesn't give you rights. If anything it makes you dumber for doing these things and driving. Mini van and Suv people are endangering lives in your cars! Pay attention people. Stay out of my way because where ever I am going, you better believe my butt is in the fast lane and I hate being behind you. It better now even start raining, because down here people just stop! I have been on a major interstate that just, BOOM out of nowhere, a drop of rain falls and they just slam the brakes. People, it's just water! You are made up of it by 80%, I promise it will not hurt you. Next time traffic stops for rain, I'm just going to park my car right there and get out and do a crazy girl rain dance just to give someone something to stop and look at! (That'd be a cool thing to blog about!) Anyway, I inherited my dad's lead foot but thank goodness I have my charm ;) It's gotten me out of trouble every single time I've ever been pulled over!

But Really We Should Have a TV Show....

Okay, Dad is going to kill me...but like I said,"No one is safe." So dad decided to use some menthol nasal spray and then put in his sleep apnea machine (it is inserted in the nostrils and pushes air up). Hmmm what do you think happened!? The man got the menthol stuck in his eye cavities! He was up the whole night crying and walking around the house trying to memorize where everything was because he swore he was going blind! They had me come look at it the next morning and poor dad...he looked ridiculous! His eyes were swollen shut and red as blood. I literally pried them open to inspect and make sure he didn't tear or scratch anything! He was in so much pain! I did some healing magic with some hot and cold compresses, eye drops, and valium! Patient did amazing and healed well! He was back to his self the next day. So funny I got pictures though...he is going to die! Also he keeps reminding us how serious he was and that he truly was going blind...that's a Baughan for you!

My brother, the dork! Ok so look at this picture. What is going on here? Is Derek practicing for the olympics? Is he snorkeling in the hot tub? Is he doing anything cool at all? NO!!! He is being a dork and seeing how long he can hold his breath...with goggles on. I mean c'mon. But we all love him anyway. He is a very "special" person and we constantly remind him that it's ok the be different ;) LOL you have to love him. He even go past 2 mins on a few tries and then he passed out, so it we didn't get to try again because mom intervened. I mean what do mom know anyway....

 I just wanted to take this time to thank God for the many blessings I have in my life. I have an amazing family that is so close and always there for me and can always put a smile of my face or get me heated! I know how lucky and blessed I am to have them and don't take that for granted. I am so happy that I know who I am and what I want out of my life and where I am going. I couldn't do this or be so happy without the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Having a personal relationship with them helps me every singe second of every day. I am happy through them and through Christ. I know they will always lead and guide me where I am supposed to be and that the trials I am given are only to make me stronger and help me to learn more throughout my life. I've seen many people struggle around me and ask why so many times and become discouraged, through Christ all things are possible and you can receive an answer. I am so grateful for this knowledge and peace in my life. 



FRIENDS!!!!!
I am so blessed and happy that these lovely ladies are the best friends a girl could ever ask for. Kristine has been my sister since forever ago...yes we used to slam the door and scream we hated each other and our neighbor had to break up a few hair pulling fights in the middle of the road. But, that never changed anything. She has always  been there for me through everything in my life and I couldn't have asked God for a better sister! I cannot believe she is getting married in a couple days. So stinkin excited!

Oh how I love my Ashley and Eve!!! They are so much fun! We make even the most boring things a freakin hoot! You never know what one of us will say. I must say we look pretty dang hot on our scrubby movie nights ;) I am so glad I met these girls here in NC. I love you 2! Hey Eve...when is you birthday!? LOL. 

Here is a pic from Kristine's bridal shower. Anna is one friend that I don't get to see often, but when we get back together we can talk about anything! I love catching up with her and laughing about all the creepy men we seem to always see out. Really excited to see her in a couple days too!

 Jenny!!! I love my Jen to pieces. We have been though it all down here in the South! She is there or me to vent and a shoulder to cry on and vice versa! I don't know if I would have stayed here if it weren't for her. Jen is the most loving, loyal, and caring person you could meet. She would do just about anything for anyone. She is a blast and a half! Girl knows how to get down with her bad self too...lol!!! We have a blast anytime we are together. The pic below is of me taking her Slurpee virginity! LOL...Love you girl and thank you for being there! We both know God put us in each others live's just when we needed! 

The Fouth Weekend That Was Full of Fun! 

 As you can see we had a stinkin awesome 4th of July celebrating our freedoms and Independence! Derek and I even got a workout in by the pool. We know how to get our planks on! It was a great weekend! We had friends and family in for a visit and I don't think I have ever eaten so much food! Thanks to everyone who was apart. 

 My mother and I are absolute nuts! I mean this picture says it all but if you really know us, I have to apologize...only because you are jealous you don't have as much fun in life as us! Thanks mom for always being there for me and being a person I can ALWAYS turn to. You are an amazing woman and example for me and I couldn't have been more blessed than to have you as my mom! 

 Look at these dorks!!! We are usually the 3 amigos...but Ashley couldn't join us! Shot out to ASHLEY! We missed you! But, Eve and I did have a blast and got our tan on and then we got a group together to watch pitch perfect. That was followed by fireworks and dancing on counters...because I can!

The other 3 amigos! I love these boys sooo much! I may look like the baby, but it's just because I'm the runt. Even though I'm the oldest, these 2 have always looked out for and protected me and I couldn't have asked God for better siblings. I am so blessed to have them apart of my everyday life and am so grateful we are such a close family. We are all so different, but that's what makes the dinner conversation amazing and most times inappropriate! LOL...GOD BLESS MY PARENTS...because we are trouble!

Now here's my daddy and me! I will always be his little girl no matter how big (err I mean old) I get and he will always be my hero. He has never let anyone I know want or need for anything and would take a bullet for anyone he knows. I have never known a person who is so loving and giving. He has a heart of gold even though he has threatened to shoot all of my boyfriends in the knee and drop them in the lake with cement boots. Other than that, seriously he's great! Just don't break my heart...warning given! We are so much alike too that it is just plain scary and wrong! I mean see us go from major blow up to lovey dovey and you will be amazed God has that much sense of humor to duplicate us and put us in the same family. It totally trumps reality TV. The Baughan Gene certainly has been passed down nicely, if I don't say so myself ;) 

Another Monday Survived!

Well y'all another Monday was successfully survived (I don't know why but the song "Survivor" by Destiny's Child comes to mind and I have to do a quick dance)! Ok, I'm back.

On to the rest. Today was good. My creepy security parking attendant met me with a huge smile and said how much he had missed my pretty face over the weekend. This wouldn't be bad or creepy and almost a compliment if he wasn't an old black man with about half his teeth missing. But, hey I'm sure he saves money on dental visits and insurance. I get the rest of the week off for a long July 4th break (perks of a private school woohoo!) and proceeded to tell him this. You would of thought I broke the old grandpa's heart...so I told him to compensate I'll bring him some chocolate next week. He then proceeded to tell me he knows exactly how he likes his women and chocolate and now I know how he likes his chocolate would I be interested to know how he likes his women? I quickly answered nope and added sometimes a little mystery was a good thing. He then tried to what I thought was high five me, but turned into me high fiving and him holding my hand...um can you say awkward. LOL of geeze...people always amuse me. 

Second thing that stands out from the day is how people really cannot drive in the south. Like one rain drop falls and everyone's lives stop, like right then and there! Usually this happens on the interstate and you are stuck! Which, for me, is the perfect time to turn on my pandora to Spice Girls station and rock out! It gets rid of my road rage and is an amazing energy outlet, plus I provide FREE entertainment to all those around me! But here's a real sign you're a badass...sing to the Spice Girls with a British accent! That's total BA right there and that's how I roll ;) 

Tonight I had to go to the pharmacy and pick up some medicine. Obviously not something I truly look forward to, but tonight I was particularly pumped because I had a coupon and remembered to bring it! Well I had my brother in the car and went to pick up the medicine and I proceed to give her my coupon where she then proceeds to say I can't use it. Apparently CVS doesn't let you use "pharmacy and extra bucks" on prescription drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products. That's what a drug store basically sells...so I looked at the Pharmacists and without a beat said, "well there goes all the fun stuff!" They started cracking up and totally agreed! If they had said no toilet paper too, Sh*t would've hit the fan. So basically I'm going to break it down...I pay full price for things and pay taxes to our government and I don't get discounts so my money can pay for the government to give other people free alcohol, tobacco, and prescriptions. I totally see the fairness...awesome job guys on top! As I drove off I secretly wanted to see a fat person just fall off a bike or on their face to cheer me up...so I headed to Target!!!!  Nothing cool in target except for a kid that thought he was a chicken and kept pecking imaginary things in the air and taking bites of produce and putting it back. Some people's kids...

Last thought of the night...anyone ever look at someone and think "out of all those sperm, you were that won, wow!?" I mean if it's really bad, can you imagine what the others would have looked like!? Just a thought I had when I was on Tinder...check out the app and you will know what I mean or go to Walmart on a Friday night!

Welcome to my world

I am pretty new at this blogging stuff, but speaking my mind is something I've been doing since I uttered my first word. God made all of us equal and amazing, but on my he forgot a couple things...one of them being a filter, another is a butt! Oh well you thank him for your blessings and embrace the others! Any way I figured I would write day to day funnies I think about and encounter and the craziness that is my life. Hopefully it'll make someone laugh or even giggle and hey, it's free therapy for me! Win win! 

I'll start off really quick with a little background information. My name is Meagan, I am a WVU Mountaineer Alumni and was a cheerleader there for 3 years. I bleed blue and gold baby! Was engaged when I graduated and was going to work on the news and then life had other plans! Those plans have been the greatest blessings in disguise. I was able to move down south to Charlotte and find out who I truly am as a person. I'm very determined, strong willed, driven, and passionate for life and making other peoples' lives as positive and fun as I can. I am currently earning my second degree and am getting my Nursing Degree so I can be an RN and work with chronically ill and oncology pediatric patients. I was born an entertainer and don't know a stranger. I literally have solo dance parties to old 90's music about oh....EVERY NIGHT and I feel popcorn should be it's own food group. I love Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, Gone With the Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Tiffany's & CO (but who doesn't except crazy people), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Starbursts, Skittles, Cinnamon Bears, and 7-11 Slurpees. I love the color pink and anything monogramed. I do not like chocolate or dessert, but have been known to crave them on occasion. I have a passion for the outdoors and sunshine. My favorite place is the beach and just relaxing or curling up with a good book. I love being active and have way too much energy (I seriously want to make myself shut up sometimes)! 

Like now...this is boring....ok fun stuff!....

So today I was thinking about Karma and blessings and how they are a lot a like. I mean there is the Karma of what goes around comes around and this makes me happy, because everytime someone ticks the living heck outta me and I just smile and think "Oh buddy, I feel so sorry for you and what's coming your way!" Smiling is another thing I love, people think you are being kind and sweet, when you are literally up to no stinkin good! Well I'm hoping that the more good I do the more comes back around to me and thus they become blessings. No, I just am not nice for the hope it comes back around, I'm just a nice person and can't help it! Just don't piss me off...every seen an angry elf? I hope others think this way too, I know they don't because people suck. I mean how many truly genuinely nice people do you know? Most people are fake and say what they think you want to here...ain't nobody got time for that! Life is too short to have people like that around you. I am so blessed to have my amazing immediate family and then family I've chosen that aren't blood related. It's made my life so much less stressed and drama free. I also feel people should be called on their bad behavior...I mean they did it, they might as well be called out and embarrassed...they should've chosen not to misbehave. Just saying.

I also love this blog in the sense that I really am using my freedom of speech. It's a right the our founding fathers fought and died for and I fully intend to embrace that to max! That's just how I roll. I might not get a ton of hits because I am not a crazy liberal, I do not like our President, I don't agree with the moral decline of our nation, and I'm not gay screaming about equal rights. Just a simple Carolina girl who chooses to not let these things effect her at all and absolutely embrace life and live it to the fullest! I choose to look at the good and the positive and call you out on the bad and ugly. So if you don't want to appear in this blog you have one warning now...behave because I won't change names.

Another thought of the day, if everyone minded everyone's own business then 1/2 the world's problems would not even exist. I mean do you really care that Jerry is out with Lindsay eating at a BBQ joint you went to with him...NO! I can promise your facebook and instagram friends don't care either. So save yourself some drama and have some dignity and hit the gym or hey start a blog and spill it there lol! (This is really just a scenario)

***Side thought, every time I am at a stoplight downtown and there is a homeless person there I always give them my granola bar I was taking to class and the weird thing is they look better fed than me...just thinking out loud...hmmm maybe if I stood on the side of the road I could get free food too! #Skinnygirlprobs

Last thing for my first ever post, I am eating pie in my bed as I type this because I can and life is about living! Now I'm signing off to kick it with some Vanilla Ice...Word to your motha and peace out.
